Snap2HTML

If you need to include a list of your files and folders into a report, you should not type it yourself, because you can find many applications which are capable of generating such lists. Snap2HTML brings a new approach to creating folder lists. You just need to select a folder and the application will create a list of its contents, in HTML format. What's more, when you load the file in a browser, you will be able to interact with your folders, just like on a standard explorer window.

The application is freeware and you don't have to go through a setup process before you can use it. Its files can be extracted from an archive, which is only 149 KB. This means that portability is another feature of Snap2HTML.

As previously mentioned, you must select a folder, on Snap2HTML small interface. Additionally, you may click a few check boxes, to include system or hidden files. You can also choose to link the listed items with the actual files, from your selected folder.

After clicking the large Create button, the application will generate the list instantly. If you load the file in your browser, you will be able to navigate through your folders and view their contained files, just like in Windows Explorer. A search function is available on the same page, so you can locate specific files instantly.

If you link your files, you may click the listed items to open them. You will be able to view images, play audio files, open documents and so on. The best part is that everything is saved as a single HTML file, which is very easy to store or send to a friend.
